Prior to receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Dr. Lloyd worked with students with multiple disabilities, learning disabilities and mental retardation at the elementary, junior high and high school levels. She has nearly 30 years of experience in supervision and teaching at the University level, 18 of those years at UTEP. Recently retired as Department Chair of UTEP’s Educational Psychology Department, she still teaches one class a semester.
